We first saw ferrets at a pet store and started researching them online. One of our sons really wanted a cat, but some of us are allergic to cats. After reading more about ferrets, we decided fuzzies would be the perfect addition to our family. So we adopted two carpet sharks from Washington Ferret Rescue & Shelter in August 2003.
